  • With over 30 years of experience in healthcare and more than 25 years dedicated to senior care, Kay brings a deep commitment to enhancing quality of life for older adults. A Registered Dietitian by education, Kay served as Vice President of Nutrition & Dining Services for 20 years before transitioning to Vice President of Experience and Hospitality, where she focused on elevating resident and associate engagement and satisfaction. Later, as Regional VP of Operations, Kay oversaw several Independent and Assisted Living communities, driving operational excellence and team development.

    Kay holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Leadership from Friends University and is also a licensed Care Home Operator. Her leadership philosophy is rooted in humility, integrity, and transparency, and she embraces a servant leadership approach that prioritizes people and purpose. Kay attributes every success to God’s guidance and grace and strives to lead with compassion and accountability.


  • Denise has served as the Business Office Director at Georgetown by Axiom for 13 years. She is committed to supporting residents, families, and staff while fostering strong relationships and ensuring organized, compliant business operations. She strives to contribute to a welcoming environment where residents feel secure, respected, and well cared for. Before joining Georgetown by Axiom, Denise worked as an insurance specialist at a local physician’s office. She later stepped away from that role to focus on her family as a homemaker.


  • Jeanne Lewis is a dedicated senior living professional known for her steady leadership and her genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of older adults. Jeanne truly loves working with the residents, and that joy shows in the way she listens, supports, and advocates for them every day.

    During her six‑year tenure at Georgetown, Jeanne has fostered a culture where staff feel supported, and residents feel truly at home. Colleagues often describe her as attentive to detail and deeply invested in creating spaces where people feel safe, connected, and cared for. She especially enjoys baking and making extra‑special treats for the residents, adding a personal touch that brings comfort, smiles, and a sense of home to the community.

    Outside of work, Jeanne’s greatest joy comes from her family. She and her husband, Larry, share four children and are proud grandparents to nine grandchildren who keep life lively, meaningful, and full of heart. Whether she’s spending time with her growing family or supporting her Georgetown residents, Jeanne brings sincerity, purpose, and compassion to everything she does.


  • Tanya Merritt is a dedicated professional with over ten years of experience working in senior living, guided by a deeply personal sense of purpose. Her commitment to caring for older adults is rooted in her relationship with her grandmother, who inspired her passion for service, compassion, and dignity in aging. This foundation has shaped not only her career path but also the way she connects with those she serves.

    Throughout her decade in senior living, Tanya has gained extensive experience supporting residents, families, and care teams. She understands the importance of creating environments where seniors feel safe, respected, and valued. Her work reflects a balance of professionalism and heartfelt care, informed by both hands-on experience and personal motivation.

    Tanya is known for her empathetic approach and strong communication skills. She builds trusting relationships by listening closely, showing patience, and advocating for residents’ needs. Colleagues and families alike recognize her as someone who leads with integrity and consistently puts people first.

    At the heart of Tanya Merritt’s work is her “why”: honoring her grandmother by ensuring others receive the same respect and compassion. As she continues her career in senior living, she remains committed to making a meaningful difference, carrying forward the values that first inspired her to serve.


  • Kyle Martinez is the Facilities Director at Georgetown, bringing with him a diverse and hands-on background in construction, maintenance, and regulatory compliance. His career began in residential remodeling construction, where he developed a strong foundation in building systems, craftsmanship, and problem-solving.

    Kyle later expanded his technical expertise by working as a welder on large-scale construction projects. In this role, he contributed to complex industrial builds that demanded precision, safety awareness, and teamwork in high-risk environments. This phase of his career sharpened his technical skills and reinforced the importance of strict safety standards, documentation, and coordination across multiple trades and disciplines.

    Transitioning into healthcare, Kyle moved into facility maintenance within hospital settings, where he gained experience maintaining critical systems that directly support patient care. He later specialized in facility life safety, ensuring buildings remained compliant with state regulations as well as standards set by The Joint Commission and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). His work took him across the nation, overseeing compliance efforts, inspections, and corrective actions to protect patients, staff, and organizations. Today, Kyle leverages this broad experience to lead operations with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.


  • Bringing nearly 40 years of dedicated pastoral care experience, Shannon has served in diverse ministry and chaplaincy roles with unwavering commitment to spiritual guidance and compassionate support. Licensed to preach in 1987 and ordained in 1996, Shannon pastored three Baptist churches for 11 years while earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in Christian Ministries from Southwest Baptist University and a Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

    Following his pastoral service, Shannon served as a Chaplain and Officer in the U.S. Air Force for 11 years, providing spiritual care to service members and their families. He later transitioned to Hospice Chaplaincy for two years and worked as a Partnership Specialist for the U.S. Census Bureau, representing faith-based organizations across Kansas during the 2020 Census. During this time, he also briefly pastored the Evangelical Free Church in Udall, KS.

    Since early 2022, Shannon has served as Chaplain at Georgetown, where he supports residents and families through complex life challenges, fostering an environment of healing and understanding. His pastoral care is delivered with empathy, professionalism, and alignment with the organization’s mission of holistic support.


  • With almost 50 years of experience in food service management and 25 years in senior living, Rosie brings extensive leadership and operational expertise.   She has a strong foundation in quality, compliance, and resident-centered service as well as passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences that enhance quality of life for seniors while building strong, accountable teams.  

    Rosie started her career in food service management in the restaurant sector.  She moved to food sales, and then finally senior care... in which she has remained.  She has lead teams at various independent, assisted living, and long-term care communities and most recently held a position as Project Manager with Unidine Corp.  In this role, Rosie supported multiple communities with operational oversight, team development, and performance improvement initiatives including kitchen inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and high standards of food safety and service excellence.
